Behind the Brand
Former pastry chef Lillie O'Brien founded London Borough of Jam in 2011 to create natural jams with quality ingredients. They now supply tasty preserves to countries as far afield as Japan, spreading their love of jam making with workshops and masterclasses. Lillie O'Brien has also written a book, The Five Seasons of Jam, published by Kyle Books.
London Borough of Jam makes preserves in small batches using natural methods. They use a maximum of four ingredients, less sugar and no commercially produced pectins. Seasonal fruits such as Victoria Plums and Greengages are combined with unusual flavourings such as wild fennel pollen and cocoa nibs to enhance and enrich the flavours. All products are dairy free and suitable for vegans.
